FSU’s Department of Music Presents Vocal Studio Recitals
Frostburg State University’s Vocal Studios will present a recital of art song, musical theatre selections, and opera and oratorio arias on Monday, Oct. 18, and Tuesday, Oct. 19. Both performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public. If you can't attend the recital, it will also be livestreamed; click the 'Join Stream' button on this page a few minutes before the recital is scheduled to begin, or anytime during the recital, to view the live performance.
Performing will be music majors and minors from the vocal studios of Gregory Scott Stuart and Francesca Aguado; they will be accompanied by pianist Dr. Joseph Yungen. The recital features students of classical singing, as well as those with a musical theatre minor. The musical theatre selections include many well-known songs from the contemporary musical theatre repertory.
The University is following CDC guidance based on current conditions in the area. Currently, FSU expects masks to be worn indoors when in the presence of others, regardless of vaccination status. Visitors to campus must visit www.frostburg.edu/checkin for symptom monitoring.
