“The Brownsville Project: Live Performance and Social Discourse” to Be Presented at FSU

Frostburg State University’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host “The Brownsville Project: Live Performance and Social Discourse” on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Inspired by an invisible, yet powerful overlap in their family history, Clory Jackson and Caroline Hann embarked on a creative journey five years ago to explore and confront the history of Brownsville and its social impact on the lives of Brownsville descendants and Western Maryland residents. This reprise production will feature new revelations and historic findings.
