About this Event
Tuesday, 3/28 CCIT 397 7PM
A lecture by award-winning journalist, Dan Boylan, built around engaging and accessible material that explores how polarization now rules public discourse, how moderates are made voiceless and how the news media has evolved to help bring us here. I urge young journalists, aspiring PR professionals and those hoping to be the best citizens that they can be -- to confront today’s chaotic environment responsibly.
Dan Boylan is an award-winning journalist, and creative consultant with experience across five continents dealing with some of recent history's most high-profile conflicts, crises, and characters including Saddam Hussein, Donald Trump, and Mark Zuckerberg.
As a filmmaker, his work was shown at the Cannes Film Festival and he has also been on radio and TV stations including National Public Radio, the BBC and C-Span. He advises governments, militaries, NGOs, and corporations around the world.
