Bobcats Celebrate Homecoming at FSU Oct. 5-8

It’s that time of year again when Bobcats of all generations come together to celebrate during the Frostburg State University 2023 Homecoming! FSU students, alumni, faculty and staff will be showing their Bobcat pride from Thursday, Oct. 5, to Sunday, Oct. 8.

On Friday morning, registration for the FSU Baseball Golf Outing begins at 9 a.m. and the shotgun start is at 10 a.m. at the Rocky Gap Casino Resort. Then, at 3 p.m., the Bobcat Softball team will take on the Potomac State Catamounts on the FSU Softball Field, and at 7 p.m., the Bobcat Volleyball team will play the West Liberty Hilltoppers in the Main Arena of the Cordts PE Center.

Seven new inductees will be welcomed that evening at the Bobcat Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner. Cocktail hour for the reservation-only event begins at 5 p.m. in the Lane Upper Lobby, with dinner following at 6 p.m. in Lane Manicur Hall. Also that evening, the Welcome Back Alumni Reception will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hotel Gunter at 11 W. Main St. in Frostburg.
