FSU’s Department of Music Presents Holiday Concert, “Music for the Season”

Frostburg State University’s Department of Music will present its Holiday Concert, “Music for the Season,” on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. The concert is free and open to the public. This event will also be livestreamed; click the “Join Stream” button on this page a few minutes before the recital is scheduled to begin, or anytime during the recital, to view the live performance.

Performers will include FSU Choral Artists, conducted by Dr. Scott Rieker, the FSU Wind Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Ash Glenn, as well as the FSU Brass Ensemble, FSU Saxophone Ensemble, FSU String Ensemble, FSU Percussion Ensemble and FSU Jazz Combo. The faculty and student soloists and duets will perform a variety of holiday and seasonal music.

In addition, a Prelude Performance by the FSU Jazz Orchestra, directed by Dr. Brent Weber, will take place at 2:15 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center lobby.
