Maryland Symphony Orchestra Executive Director Jonathan Parrish will lead a free community discussion about the music industry. Topics will include examination of the skills, work and rewards involved in arts management careers; and analysis of the nonprofit organization model, including mission, governance practices and fundraising. The event will provide current and future arts professionals with insight on how to achieve success in the professional arts world.
