FSU’s CES and Student Activities Present Nat Geo Live’s “Women and Migration”

Frostburg State University’s Cultural Events Series and the FSU Student Activities program will present “Women and Migration,” a free streaming event from the National Geographic Live Virtual Speaker Series, on Tuesday, April 13, at 7 p.m.

Photographers Danielle Villasana, Miora Rajaonary and Saiyna Bashir will join photo editor Jennifer Samuel to discuss their latest project, which documents social, economic, political and climate issues that push and pull women from their homes. Stories span the globe in countries, including Honduras, Mexico, Pakistan, Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
