FSU's Department of Theatre and Dance to Present “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane”

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Frostburg State University will present its family-friendly production of “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane” on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center.

Edward Tulane is an expensive toy rabbit made of china. He is vain and self-centered with no interest in anyone other than himself. On an ocean voyage, Edward is accidentally thrown overboard and sinks to the bottom of the sea. So begins his journey – a journey over which he has no control, for he is a toy rabbit. As the years pass, Edward meets many people in many situations. Through this miraculous journey, he learns what it is to love, what it is to lose love and how to find the courage to love again.

Directed by Mairzy Yost-Rushton, from the book by Kate DiCamillo adapted by Dwayne Hartford, “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane” is a joyful production for children of all ages.

Tickets are $7 for students and can be purchased online by visiting www.frostbug.edu/TheatreDance and clicking “Buy Tickets Now.”
