Through the annual Sponsor-A-Family academic and administrative departments, student groups, or individuals can help make a difference in a family's life in Western Maryland by providing a Thanksgiving food basket to a family in need. Since its beginning the Sponsor-A-Family has provided Thanksgiving baskets for over 250 families in Western Maryland. If you or your group is interested in sponsoring a family for the Thanksgiving holiday or just making a donation, drop off your non-perishable food items at the Office of Volunteerism & National Service. All baskets will be delivered on the Monday & Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
