The Sloop Institute for Excellence in Leadership is an advanced experience designed to complement 40 student leaders’ current training and development. The topics for each year’s program are based on components of advanced leadership, with the workshops intended for experienced leaders who know the basics, but need to dialogue about their actual experiences. Participants explore theories in areas such as: leadership, ethics, vision, motivation, creative thinking, multiculturalism and diversity. Individuals are able to share their personal leadership experiences through a wide variety of individual and small group activities. This weekend creates an opportunity for student and alumni to connect and develop relationships.
