Sigma Tau Delta: Dr. Seuss Reading

FSU’s Sigma Tau Delta to Host Dr. Seuss Reading

In honor of his birthday, Frostburg State University’s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honors Society, will host a reading of the works of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, at Main Street Books, 2 E. Main St., Frostburg.

Children will enjoy the wondrous, vibrant worlds illustrated in Dr. Seuss’ books, and they can take home the lessons each book teaches, like the importance of trying new things, working hard and sharing. There will be craft stations and a raffle, so each child can bring home his or her own paper mask, puppet or even a plush doll of a Dr. Seuss character. The event will be free and open to the public.
