FSU's Department of Theatre and Dance to Present “Seussical Jr.”

The Department of Theatre and Dance at Frostburg State University will present a Roundabout Children’s Theatre production of the musical extravaganza “Seussical Jr.” on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. in the Drama Theatre of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center.

The show features characters created by celebrated children’s author Dr. Seuss – Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and a little boy with big ideas, Jojo – who come together to transport the audience from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus and the fantastical land of the Whos. In this fun-for-the-family adventure, everyone’s favorite characters collide in a story about imagination and the power and magic of friendship and family.

Directed by Mairzy Yost-Rushton with musical direction by Dr. Sean Beachy and choreography by Rebecca Brown, “Seussical Jr.” is a joyful production for children of all ages.

Tickets are $7 for students and can be purchased online at www.frostburg.edu/TheatreDance (click "buy tickets).

For more information, call the Theatre and Dance box office at 301-687-7462 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m.
