Nightsun Writers Conference Readings: Gerry LaFemina and April Lindner

LaFemina and Lindner will read on Saturday, July 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lyric Theater. The readings are free and open to the public.

Lindner is the author of three young adult novels, including “Catherine,” a modernization of “Wuthering Heights.” She has published two poetry collections, and she co-edited the anthology “Contemporary American Poetry.”

LaFemina is the director of the FSU Center for Creative Writing. He has published five full-length collections of poetry, including “The Parakeets of Brooklyn,” which received the 2003 Bordighera Prize. Among his other honors are a Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs grant and a Pushcart Prize.
