
FSU Student Michael Lundien to Present Senior Piano Recital
Frostburg State University student Michael Lundien will present his senior piano recital on Sunday, April 22, at 3 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. The recital is free and open to the public.
Lundien will play “Prelude and Fugue in G Major, Book 1, BWV 860” by Johann Sebastian Bach, “Piano Sonata, Op. 31, No. 3” by Ludwig Van Beethoven, “Au bord d’une source” by Franz Liszt, “Nocturne No. 20 in C-sharp Minor, Op. Posthumus” by Frederic Chopin and “Mephisto Waltz No. 1, S. 514” by Liszt.
Lundien studies under Dr. Jay DeWire at FSU. He is a winner of the Talent in the Arts Scholarship, the Charlie and Wanda Steiner Scholarship and the Richards Scholarship. Lundien anticipates graduating in May with a bachelor’s degree in piano performance. His career goal is to be a piano composer and teacher. A graduate of Broadneck Senior High School in Annapolis, he is the son of Peter and Barbara Lundien of Annapolis.
