The FSU Department of Music presents a recital by members of the low brass studio, under the direction of Kevin McManus, on Friday, April 5, at 7:30 pm in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU's Performing Arts Center.  The recital is free and open to the public.

The program includes works for tuba and trombone.  Matthew Ordille and Hunter Martin will perform solo tuba works by Eric Ewazen and Raymond Premru, and Marc Williams and Geoffrey Westbrook perform solo trombone works by Nicola Ferro and Stjephan Sulek.  Trombonist Marc Williams and tubist Matthew Ordille team up to perform Mozart's Sonata in B-flat Major for Bassoon and Cello, while trombonist Geoffrey Westbrook and tubist Hunter Martin perform Hindemith's Piece for Bassoon and Cello.  For the final piece the four low brass members are joined by Kevin McManus on trombone to perform Michael Davis' August.
