An orphan, abandoned near a basketball court, is adopted and trained by five masters at a martial arts school. He can make any shot and may know the “altering universe” kata (choreographed patterns of movement) that controls time. He is discovered and promoted by Tsang to help First University win a basketball championship against a corrupt and evil rival team. Along the way he falls in love, learns the importance of teamwork and discovers the true meaning of friendship and fatherhood.
