The Department of Music Guest Artist Series presents the Merlin Ensemble Trio. Admission is free.
In association with the Allegany Arts Council and World Artists Experiences, the FSU Department of Music presents the Merlin Ensemble Trio from Vienna, Austria, in a concert titled 'Transfigured Night'.
Called the 'Chamber Orchestra of Europe', the Trio will present works by Zemlinsky, Schonberg, Schubert and pianist/composer Til Korber. Founded in 1991, the Trio performs chamber music at its highest level, and are guests of great international music festivals and concert houses, including the Salzburg Festival.
