FSU Flute Ensemble Concert

FSU to Present Recital of Flute and Guitar Music

The Frostburg State University Flute Studio will perform a recital of flute solo and chamber music on Wednesday, May 8, at 8 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Performing Arts Center. The recital is free and open to the public.

The repertoire will include the popular “Sonatina” for flute and piano by American composer Eldin Burton, as well as the lovely “Passages” for piccolo and piano by Daniel Kelley. Georges Hue’s “Fantasie” will also be performed.

The FSU Flute and Guitar Ensemble will present the second half of the program. Ryan Sheally, flute, and Robert Wallace, guitar, will perform the celebrated “Trois Gymnopedies” by Eric Satie, “Sicilienne” by J.S. Bach and the fiery “Milonga” by Christopher Caliendo.
