FSU Chamber Singers, University Chorale and Troubadours Tenor-Bass Choir to Present “So I’ll Sing With My Voice”
The Frostburg State University Chamber Singers, University Chorale and Troubadours Tenor-Bass Choir, under the direction of Dr. Scott Rieker, will present their fall choral concert, “So I’ll Sing With My Voice,” on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. They will be accompanied by pianist Dr. Joseph Yungen.
In this evening of music, the FSU Chamber Singers, University Chorale and Troubadours Tenor-Bass Choir will showcase the power and expressivity of the human voice in a multitude of contexts for singing, from celebration to worship to mourning to activism. Major 20th- and 21st-century composers sing alongside their peers from the preceding centuries for this emotional journey in song.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the door (cash or credit card) and are $10 for general admission; $5 for seniors, veterans, and FSU faculty and staff; and free for students and children 12 and younger.
