“Equal Means Equal” by ERA Education Project Founder Kamala Lopez

Wednesday, April 9 at 11:00am

Lane Center Atkinson Room 101 Braddock Road, Frostburg, MD, Frostburg

FSU to Present “Equal Means Equal” Presentation by ERA Education Project Founder Kamala Lopez

Frostburg State University will present Kamala Lopez and her “Equal Means Equal” presentation twice on Wednesday, April 9, the first at 11 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m. in the Atkinson Room (232) of the Lane University Center. Both sessions are free and open to the public.

Lopez is the founder and executive director of the ERA Education Project, created to raise public awareness about the need to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment, which would put equality between men and women in the U.S. Constitution. Ratifying the ERA puts the American woman’s sizeable accomplishments and her gains throughout the last century on a solid foundation.
