FSU Student Daniel Bedwell to Present Senior Guitar Recital

Frostburg State University student Daniel Bedwell will present his senior guitar recital on Sunday, April 21, at 7 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Bedwell’s program will include “Prelude No. 1” by Heitor Villa-Lobos; “Endecha,” “Capricho Arabe” and “Rosita” by Francisco Tarrega; “Julia Florida” by Agustin Barrios; “Unruhe,” “Fingal’s Hohle” and “Tarentelle” from “Bardenklange” by Johann Kaspar Mertz; Autumn Leaves” by Joseph Kosma, Johnny Mercer and Jacques Prevert; and “Little Wing” and “Voodoo Child (Slight Return)” by Jimi Hendrix.

Bedwell studies under Patrick Sise at FSU. He has been on the Dean’s List and is a member of Pi Lambda Phi. Bedwell anticipates graduating in May with a bachelor’s degree in music – guitar performance. A graduate of Hereford High School in Parkton, Md., he is the son of Diane Bedwell.
