FSU to Host Undergraduate Research Symposium
Frostburg State University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will host an Undergraduate Research Symposium on Friday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. throughout the Lane University Center. University Provost Dr. Steven J. Simpson will kick off the event with remarks at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
This symposium will celebrate the research accomplishments of FSU undergraduate students by providing them with the unique opportunity to present their work to peers and share experiences across many disciplines. The symposium will feature over 80 posters, oral presentations and displays that represent research conducted by undergraduate students in the departments of biology, chemistry, communication studies, computer science and information technology, English, foreign languages and literature, geography, history, mathematics, nursing, physics and engineering, psychology, visual arts and honors.
