CES at FSU to Present “Christmas With the Annie Moses Band”
CES at Frostburg State University will present the Annie Moses Band in a performance of beloved Christmas carols and holiday favorites on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall of FSU’s Lane University Center.
The Emmy Award-winning folk band is well-known for fiery string playing and soulful renditions of beloved American songs. From the spirited renditions of “God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen,” “Deck the Halls” and “The Sussex Carol” to the breathtaking beauty of “O Holy Night,” “Christmas With the Annie Moses Band” promises an evening of invigorating and reverential music.
The Annie Moses Band has wowed audiences throughout the United States with an original sound that fuses American roots, folk rock and jazz. Named for their great-grandmother, the all-sibling, Juilliard-educated ensemble enchants with stirring instrumental flair and shimmering layered vocals. Three popular concert specials on PBS have earned praise from a diverse fan base of classical connoisseurs, roots enthusiasts, jazz aficionados and bluegrass buffs.
