CES’ On the EDGE to Present South African Percussion Group 1st Project at FSU
CES’ On the EDGE series at Frostburg State University will present the South African percussion ensemble 1st Project on Thursday, March 28, in the Alice R. Manicur Assembly Hall of FSU’s Lane University Center. The 7:30 p.m. performance features informal table seating, comfortable couch and armchair seating, and food and beverage options.
Based in Johannesburg, 1st Project is an industrial percussion act with a pulse of pure primal energy. Combining elements of rock, traditional African rhythms, house and Latin, the group has created an original, adrenaline-fueled style of music designed to electrify audiences of all ages.
