Bible Book Club; Genesis (Not for Credit Course)

The Book of Genesis, the first book of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament).  It is divided into two parts, the Primeval history and Jesus’ Ancestral history.  This book contains the foundational stories of our faith that informs us about God and God-human relationships.  Genesis if full of subjects deserving of deeper study and contemplation.  Some of the richest treasures of philosophy, theology, and practical faith are found in the life of people in this book.  You are invited to come read and discuss these stories and their meaning with fresh eyes.  Each week we will cover a section for discussion, and you will be given the next section to read during the week.  This group is open to everyone (faculty, staff, and students) who wants to understand and discuss the foundations of faith in the one God. Any who may need continuing education credits, I can also give these for completing the course.  This experience is open to the whole community.
