Center for Creative Writing Hosts Annual Thanksgiving Reading and Food Drive
Frostburg State University’s Center for Creative Writing will host the third annual Thanksgiving reading and food drive at Main Street Books, 2 E. Main St., Frostburg, Md. The event will be held on Monday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m. and will serve as a food drive for the local Pantry Partners. It is free and open to the public.
The first half of the readings will include selected local published authors and poets. The second half of the reading will be open to the public to read works of their choice based loosely on the theme of food. Interested readers should plan a segment no longer than five minutes. Participants and spectators are asked to bring non-perishable food items.
