FSU’s African-American Studies Program to Present Talk by Veteran Civil Rights Activist

Frostburg State University’s African-American Studies Program will present “The Demise of Civil Rights as We Know It,” a presentation by the Rev. Dr. Emmett C. Burns, Jr., on Thursday, April 10, at 6 p.m. in Compton Science Center Room 224. The event is free and open to the public.

Burns is a veteran civil rights activist who, since 1972, has served in the NAACP in various capacities and the Maryland General Assembly.
